Mindful Monday: The Dash

This weekend I attended my Uncle Ruben's funeral in California. I cannot explain to you the love shared between our family members and friends. I have never attended such a beautiful celebration of life.

In order to provide a tangible way to remember him, Uncle Ruben's kids printed and laminated bookmarks with photos and inspiration words. Printed on one side of the bookmark was a poem called, The Dash. This short poem has touched my heart and all I want to do is share it with everyone I meet.

This week [and hopefully for the rest of my life] I hope to focus on living my "dash" to its fullest. Please read the poem- I hope it inspires you to appreciate each breath you take.

HAPPY MONDAY, XO.

PS- I'm sorry I've been absent lately. Family has and will always be a top priority in my life, but I do have plenty to catch you all up on! Can't wait to start blogging on the regular again and reading all about what's going on in your lives!
